Labortech Testing Solutions B.V. is a small organization which has grown steadily for the
past 8 years. We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Metallurgical to join our dedicated
team and contribute to our continuous improvement in quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct metallurgical tests and analyses on test specimen. Performs mechanical testing, chemical analysis, microstructure examination, and hardness testing.
- Interpret test results and reports them.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues related to metallurgical properties and performance.
- Further develop and implement quality control procedures, protocols and efficiency of the lab.
- Conduct metallurgical research to enhance product performance and durability
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies for metallurgical analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of metallurgical tests, analyses, and experiments.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction in metallurgical processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for metallurgical testing and analysis.
- Adhere to safety protocols and practices in the laboratory environment and support in the daily supervision of organization of the lab.
- Support in maintaining client contact and create long term cooperation with our current and future clients.
Qualifications:
- Degree in (Metallurgical) Engineering and or Materials Science, or a related field such as Welding.
- Strong knowledge of metallurgical principles, processes, and testing methods.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and instrumentation for metallurgical analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
